SUMMARY:Ladder
DESCRIPTION:Mixed ladder is for men and women pickleball players of any ability who are members of the Stouffville Pickleball Players (SPP). \nYou can register one week preceding the Monday’s session. If you change your mind before the schedule is created you can deregister yourself. \nHow the Game will be Played: Players will be assigned to a court for a specific period. There are multiple times\, depending on number of registrants. Do not be late and limit your warm up time. During that time you will play games to to a predefined number of points\, win by one point. If you have 4 players in your group you will play 3 games to 16 or 20 points depending on scoring method (standard or rally). If you have 5 players in your group you will play 4 games to 12 or 15 points. Maximum # of points you can get with either 4 or 5 players in a group is 48 or 60 points. When the game is done players mark down the scores on the score sheets provided. We are changing how players move up and down the ladder. The two players that get the most points in their group will go up the ladder and the two players are at the  lowest points will go down the ladder. If you are in a group of 5 the players with the score in the middle will not move on the ladder. There are bonus moves for players who score very high or very low in their groups. \nThe number of players accommodated each week depends on the number of courts and times available. If more players sign up than courts x times allow\, a random selection of players will be made. Those players not selected will be put on a preferred list and will play in the next week\, if they register. The preferred list is only good until the next schedule is prepared. \nThe schedule will be published in time for you to examine it\, usually more than half a day in advance. There may be minor changes in your time of play and/or your opponents. We try to accommodate player needs. The final schedule is the one that will be on the courts at the time of play. \nHope you have fun playing Mixed Ladder Pickleball
