Monday night ladder – 2 sessions

Who Can Play: Mixed ladder is for men and women pickleball players of any ability who are members of the Stouffville Pickleball Players (SPP).
You can only register on the Tuesday preceding the Monday’s session. If you change your mind before the schedule is created you can unregister yourself.
If you have to cancel after the schedule is created: It is your responsibility to find a replacement. Each week all the mixed ladder pickleball players will be e-mailed the mixed ladder schedule. It will include all players names, e-mail addresses and phone numbers. If you have to cancel, email the whole group using the e-mail that was sent to you and ask if anyone can play for you. Another player may want to play two sessions, or someone that indicated they could not play that week may now be available. You can also go to the Home tab on the website and find the full membership list. Someone from that list may be willing to replace you. Please try to find a replacement that is at your skill level.
How the Game will be Played: Players will be assigned to a court for a 1 hour and 15 minute period. Either 6:45 to 8:00 or 8:00 to 9:15. Do not be late and limit your warm up time. During that time you will play games to to a predefined number of points, win by one point. If you have 4 players in your group you will play 3 games to 16 points. If you have 5 players in your group you will play 4 games to 12 points. Maximum # of points you can get with either 4 or 5 players in a group is 48 points. When the game is done players mark down the scores on the score sheets provided. We are changing how players move up and down the ladder. The two players that get the most points in their group will go up the ladder and the two players are at the lowest points will go down the ladder. If you are in a group of 5 the players with the score in the middle will not move on the ladder.
The number of players signing up must fill a group: If full groups cannot be calculated in the schedule the last players to sign up will not be playing that week and will go on the spare or waiting list. The number of players accommodated each week depends on the number of courts and times available. Sign up early. The first players to sign up will be playing. First come, first served!
